Raise Your Shoes in the Air

On Sunday evening, Teresa Hewitt and I attended the closing ceremony of the Susan G. Komen Three Day Walk at Turner Field.  As a symbol of the 60 miles of walking that each person contributed over the 3 days, a shoe was lifted in the air to pay tribute to those who were lost to breast cancer, are survivors and also for those who going through the disease currently.  There were many touching moments this weekend.  I am so thankful that I was there with all the people who walked, and all all the ones that let me photograph them.
